Michael Kelly to lead Vietnam branch of American Chamber of Commerce
In Vietnam, Michael Kelly has reportedly been selected to serve as the new Chairman for the local branch of the American Chamber of Commerce as it looks to continue developing and strengthening relationships between businesses in the Asian nation and their counterparts the United States.
According to a report from GGRAsia, Kelly is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for local casino operator Asian Coast Development Limited and its Ho Tram Project Company Limited subsidiary and is following in the footsteps of Natasha Ansell, Vietnam Chief Country Officer for Citibank, in filling the one-year role with the American Chamber of Commerce.

Kelly reportedly has over 30 years of senior management experience with several gaming firms and joined Los Angeles-based Asian Coast Development Limited in September of 2015 after running a pair of his own casino resorts. His latest firm, which also has offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, is responsible for the $4.2 billion Ho Tram Strip development in Vietnam’s Vung Tau Province and is soon hoping to be given official permission to transform the property’s foreigner-only casino into a venue that is additionally accessible to locals.
